Virginia Foundation for Cooperation, Inc.
The Foundation is the Council’s financial partner, supporting our educational programs. A 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization, VFC’s primary activity is to fund annual scholarships to agriculture students, primarily at Virginia’s two land grant universities: Virginia Tech and Virginia State University, as well as community college students planning careers in agriculture and foestry. In addition, the VFC helps fund the Virginia Institute on Cooperative Education (VICE) and student attendance at cooperative leadership institutes in other states.
The VFC publishes an annual report each spring in the Richmond Times Dispatch and welcomes donations from members and patrons. In 2019, the VFC board revised our investment policy to allow for more diversified and aggressive growth. We welcome tax deductible contributions to the Foundation!
