Co-Op Month at SSVCC

Southside Community College to host Co-op Month breakfast and career expo on Sept. 30

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 30th! VCC will hold our annual kickoff to Co-op Month beginning at 8:30 a.m. with a hot buffet breakfast at Southside Community College’s Alberta campus, followed by a Co-op Career Expo for middle and high school students from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“We’re excited to partner with Southside Virginia Community College for this event,” said Dustin Francis of Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative, who chairs VCC’s Co-op Month Committee. “Much like our 2023 and 2025 events, members are invited to staff tables to share details about their cooperative, including potential career opportunities.”

Several VCC members, including Rockingham Cooperative, have already signed up to exhibit at the Co-op Career Expo. Please register by May 31 via email to Mary Howell.
