The VICE Experience

Each year, I continue to be amazed by the abilities of both student participants and volunteers who make up the Virginia Institute on Cooperative Education (VICE). With six of this year’s FFA state officers having previously participated in VICE, our “Who’s Minding the Store?” teams benefited from their guidance while enjoying all Graves Mountain Lodge and its surrounding have to offer.

As we continue working to improve content and guest speakers for this event, please keep in mind any highschoolers you may know who would benefit from attending. Next year’s VICE will be March 19-21. Applications available in December and due by Feb. 12, 2027.

We also received a bumper crop of Scroggs-Raper Scholarship applications, with the board voting to award a total of $24,000 in 2026 scholarship funds. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, The Foundation of Cooperation always welcomes tax-deductible contributions from our members.
